How do I drive from Tottenham to the workshop?

This is the simplest route we publish. One road east across the reservoirs, one turn, and you are there.

  1. Make your way to Tottenham Hale and the gyratory beside the station and retail park.
  2. Take Ferry Lane heading east, signposted for Walthamstow.
  3. Cross the River Lea and continue between the reservoirs on the Walthamstow Wetlands land.
  4. Ferry Lane runs into Forest Road at the Billet Road end of Walthamstow. Continue east.
  5. Turn right into Blackhorse Lane, heading south towards Blackhorse Road station.
  6. Hibbert Road is a short way down on the left.

Coming from the High Road end of N17 instead, work across to Ferry Lane rather than heading south – the Lea Bridge Road route is longer and slower for anything north of Bruce Grove.

What will I see along Ferry Lane?

The Tottenham Hale retail park and the tall new residential blocks around the station mark the start. The bridge over the River Lea comes almost immediately, followed by open water on both sides – the Walthamstow reservoirs, now the Walthamstow Wetlands nature reserve, with the pumping station buildings and the Ferry Boat Inn on the north side. That open stretch is the whole middle of the journey; when houses reappear you are in E17 and Forest Road is ahead of you.

What happens when I arrive?

Park on site – parking is free at Hibbert Road. Bring the V5C or proof of ownership, both keys if the vehicle has two, and any import paperwork if the car came into the UK from abroad. Tottenham customers bring us more imported vehicles than anywhere else we cover, and the import documentation is what lets us calibrate a kilometre cluster honestly rather than guessing.

Can I get here without driving?

Easily. Blackhorse Road is one stop from Tottenham Hale on the Victoria line, and Hibbert Road is a few minutes walk from the station exit. The Gospel Oak to Barking line also connects Blackhorse Road directly. If you are leaving the vehicle with us for bench work, this is the sensible way to get home and come back.

Or shall we come to you in N17?

Given how short the journey is, either works. A mobile visit still saves you the time of two trips, and for a straightforward read, recalibrate and verify there is nothing the workshop adds. See mileage correction in Tottenham. Bring it in when the cluster hardware itself is suspect.

Getting here from Tottenham

Is Ferry Lane ever closed?

It occasionally has works around the bridge and the Wetlands entrance. If it is closed, Forest Road via Billet Road or Lea Bridge Road are the alternatives, adding roughly ten minutes.

How far is the walk from Blackhorse Road station?

A few minutes. Come out of the station, head down Blackhorse Lane and Hibbert Road is on the industrial side.

I have an imported car. What should I bring?

The NOVA notification, the foreign registration document and any overseas service records or shipping paperwork. Together they establish the distance the vehicle had covered before it arrived here.
